3 Ingredient Healthy Dessert – Strawberries Romanoff
This is a dessert I make that my 6 year old son gobbles up faster than anything else! Not ice cream, not cake, not cookies. This simple fruit dessert that is healthy!
Traditional Strawberries Romanoff Recipes call for just sour cream, brown sugar and some add brandy. Not a bad idea. I swap out half of the brown sugar for stevia, but you don’t have to.
Enjoy this very soon with fresh berries bursting from the garden or at your local farmers markets!
Strawberries Romanoff
Serves 4
4 cups strawberries, rinsed, hulled and cut into quarters
1/2 cup sour cream (organic all natural)
2 Tb brown sugar (I use 1 Tb + 1 packet stevia, honey is good too but not traditional)
Whisk together the sour cream and sweeteners then toss gently with the berries. Let sit 15 minutes, up to a few hours. Serve and enjoy!
