Moroccan Lentil Soup

Serves 4-6
1 1/2 cup lentils, rinsed and drained. We prefer pretty pink/red lentils, but any lentil will do
5 cups high quality low sodium broth
1 jar Mesa de Vida North African Harissa Inspired Healthy Cooking Sauce

Salt to taste
Optional additions at the end to gild the lilly: a squeeze of fresh lemon, a glug of lovely olive oil and hot sauce to taste

Bring the ingredients to a simmer, cover and cook on low for 20-30 minutes. Stir and enjoy!

*To make this recipe in the Instant Pot: Cook on manual for 10 minutes then natural release. Enjoy!

*If you want to add some extra protein you can start the recipe by browning some ground lamb, beef or chicken.
